Chad L. Gates is a founding partner in the Band Gates & Dramis, P.L.. A native of Venice, Florida, Chad received his B.B.A. in finance from Ohio University in 1990 and his law degree from Capital University in 1993. After graduation, he began practicing law in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 1996, Chad returned to Sarasota where he expanded his practice in real estate, banking and business law. Before forming the Band Gates & Dramis, Chad was partnered for many years with a larger Sarasota firm.

Chad’s current practice focuses in real estate law, representation of buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate, as well as the representation of developers and lenders. He also advises clients on the structuring of complex real estate ventures and loans, and related business transactions.
